This flavourful salad is made up of tender slices of beef tossed with coconut palm heart and some vegetables. Coconut palm heart, is made from the inside of the coconut tree. It's tender and tastes a bit like an artichoke. Producing palm heart means killing the tree, so this salad is somewhat of a delicacy. The mixture is tossed in a lime, fish sauce, oil, salt, and chili combo. It's served on a giant piece of fried rice paper that can be broken off and used to scoop up the delicious concoction.
